As an old friend of Ms. Sariah (Head of School/Principal), I am doing this work voluntarily. I lived in Bali, the neighboring island of Lombok for 16 years (until 2024) and I know how difficult the conditions in many places in Indonesia are. I believe that this project to raise funds and find longterm supporters, can make a big difference in the life of many.
My skills in web design are put to really good use here and I hope this website and my contribution will lead to ongoing support for the school and the people of SMK Gunung Rinjani Lombok. It is an honor to be able to help in this way. I will personally reach out to friends and people I know who may be able to donate and/or offer their support.
The website is currently only 75% done but I am launching it already so we can easily see what is there and also get some feedback from people. I decided to create a new website for this project even though I was offered to collaborate with the school’s existing website (https://smksgrl.sch.id) but I think a new website will help to approach this project with a very clear and fresh perspective.
We are currently getting all the documents together to proof the status of the school and to create a setup for donations and finance management that will be transparent and efficient so any support can be used in the most ideal way.
